These pictures remind me of Sand Hill Elementary School's outside basketball court. The goal, bent and sans net, is the same. SHES's court, however, was dirt.
I remember when the goal was so far away and when it finally came within reach. Now, it's growing far away again. I think (hope)the old hoop it will stay within my reach long enough that I can help Jeff show this boy how to fill it up. How is that for optimism!
